
Goal: Your task is to create an imaginative scene using only the shapes provided.
Role: You will take the roles of graphic artist and presenter.
Audience: Classmates, schoolmates, and the general public (library, administration office, school visitors) and Artsonia (http://www.artsonia.com/) members will be your intended audience.
Situation: You will take the challenge of creating an appealing graphic design with only the shapes provided with no maximum amount of times the shapes can be used.
Product/Performance: You will display and verbally describe and critique your shapely creations, techniques, and challenges to your peers and teacher(s). You will also listen (read) and respond to constructive critique from your peers, teacher(s), Artsonia members, and/or visitors.
Standard for Success: Your graphic design, presentation, and critique responses will be evaluated using a self-evaluation rubric and peer group evaluation rubric.
